Before we get to the new WebCATS and eCenter features that will be available later this year, let us first tell you about a new document that is available now. Many centers have asked for a client intake form that matches the flow and order of the Client Merlin in WebCATS in order to simplify the data entry of new clients into the system.
Unfortunately (or should we say fortunately), the Client Merlin can be customized per database so the fields that you see when you enter a new client may not be the same fields that another center might see. In other words, due to the flexibility of the Client Merlin we can’t make one sign-up form that matches every state’s field requirements.
For this reason, we have created a new Word document called Client Signup Form that includes every field exactly in the order as it would appear in the Client Merlin if the field were to be used. We are providing this Word document to you so that you can remove any fields that your center doesn’t use. Once you have removed all the extraneous fields, the remainder of the fields should be identical to the Client Merlin that you use.
The document also includes an area for your legal agreement text. We have added some generic text but you will need to incorporate any specific text currently used by your program. Once you have created your own customized version of this client in-take form you can even upload it to WebCATS and make it available to all your counselors to use.
